Gutless U.N. Won't Do Anything With Syria

Saw this this morning:

"BEIRUT (Reuters) - The U.N. commission probing the killing of Lebanese ex-Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri has asked to meet Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Foreign Minister Farouq al-Shara, its spokeswoman said on Monday."

All Assad has to do is hang tough and stonewall the U.N. bureaucrats.

After all, the U.N. has a wonderful record from the very beginning of doing nothing. When push comes to shove, the U.N. gets shoved.

The U.N. has either done nothing or made the situation worse with genocide and wars of aggression in Rwanda, Sudan, Dafur, Bosnia, the Congo, Kashmir, Burma, and more. And that says nothing about the first 40 years.

So, when it comes to Syria, this bloated, over-paid, multinational circle jerk and waste of prime real estate on the Hudson River won't do a damn thing to Assad. The U.N. has been in bed with terrorists for so long and has allowed itself to become so infiltrated by greedy officials with private bank accounts filled by despots like Assad that the odds for action of any sort are exactly zero.
