Smoke & Mirrors Over Biofuels.
Even if breakthroughs are achieved in nanotechnology and/or genetic engineering, the idea of harvesting corn or other plants for fuels is a fool's paradise.
Why?
Because burning those fuels leaves a carbon footprint that's not going to do a damn for global warming.
And make no mistake about it: whether man-made or part of a natural cycle, global warming will intensify global conflicts. The less carbon released, the better for the planet and the better to help prevent war.
